first_imgFormer WWE Tag Team champions Kofi Kingston and Big E made their presence felt in India as they made a fun-filled appearance in the Indian Premier League extra innings today before the match between Delhi Daredevils and Gujarat Lions.The duo looked ecstatic on being in India and said that they felt welcomed and happy.”It’s been awesome. It’s been just so welcoming. Everyone here is welcoming us into the culture. We got a wonderful reception at the hotel as well,” Kofi said.”It’s great to be here and we’re really happy that everybody is just bringing us in.”On being asked by host Samir Kochhar if they knew of the popularity of WWE in India, Big E said that they have the most number of fans on their Facebook from India.”Of all our Facebook fans across the planet, India is no.1. And the WrestleMania that we hosted, WrestleMania 33, that was the most watched WrestleMania in India.”The WWE duo then had a fun arm wrestling contest with Kochhar and Matthew Hayden, where the Big E brushed aside both of them with ease.Big E mentioned that his workout regime includes “an ‘average’ 575 bench press and some 750 squats.”Capping their overall cricket experience in the cricket-crazy nation that India is, Kofi learned some batting moves from Ravi Shastri and hit away some deliveries from Matthew Hayden.advertisementlast_img
